Robert Goldstein, MS, CFT


Robert Goldstein is a Certified Health Fitness Instructor with the American College of Sports Medicine. He is also certified as a Fitness Therapist and Personal Trainer with the International Sports Science Association. After completing his undergraduate work in Health and Physical education at Saint Mary's College in Moraga California, Robert completed a Master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation at Lehman College in New York.

 

Robert has worked as an exercise physiologist for such major medical centers as New York Presbyterian, Alta Bates/Summit in Berkeley and helped start one of the nation’s first clinical diabetes programs at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek California. He has also consulted in the area of health education for Aetna, IBM and Bristol Myers Squibb.

 

“I love my work coaching people with diabetes” says Robert.  “It is wonderful to see people working on lifestyle change and enjoying the major benefits of improved fitness and nutrition. I am excited to be part of the Fit4D team working together to promote successful outcomes for people with diabetes”.
